protest poster
This project was to protest the act of “working too hard”. I think the American dream mindset can sometimes go too far, not allowing people to enjoy life and miss out on other important life aspects.
This poster was made with felt and sewn together. Starting my day off driving around Richmond and looking for parking is a painful reminder of the work day to come, and can really put a bad start to your day. I wanted to cover a parking sign with a look that promoted rest, almost like a “rest stop” for people instead of a regular parking spot.
